Kagoshima farm office

Barn mornings in Kagoshima.

Wagyu Trace is in Kagoshima. A man who has run a breeding farm there for years started it with an engineer who digitised ear-tag registers for a prefectural livestock office. Neither of us has worked with blockchain; Canton and Daml are new to the team.

  • Prefectures: Kagoshima and Tottori, Japan. A small Kagoshima team that spends time in barns with farm staff and at the abattoir grading room.
  • Today: Still being built. No animal is recorded on it for a real sale.
  • Blockchain: Distributed ledgers are new to us. Farms are told at the start that Canton and Daml are a new study for both of us.
